Job Overview

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Doncaster. This would be ongoing work for the right candidate. This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Unloading store deliveries using tail lift and cages.
• Vehicle checks.
• Adhere to shift patterns – weekend shift preferred.

Shift Patterns & Pay

Days (04:00 - 09:00 starts):
£16.06 ph, Saturday £19.63 ph, Sunday £21.41 ph

Nights (15:00 - 21:00 starts):
£16.95 ph, Saturday £19.63 ph, Sunday £21.41 ph

Ideal Candidate

• HGV C+E licence held for at least 12 months.
• At least 3 months commercial driving experience for insurance purposes.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude.
• No DR10 +, no CD10 +, no IN10 +; no more than 6 points.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
