A leading heating manufacturer in Slough is seeking an experienced Heating Service Engineer. The role involves maintaining boilers and air source heat pumps in residential projects. Candidates should have extensive plumbing and heating experience, ideally with knowledge of renewable technologies such as ASHPs. This position offers a salary of £45k - £50k, flexible overtime, and no weekend or call-out requirements.
Nature of Work - Purely scheduled/planned service and maintenance in a concentrated local region with a maximum 30 minutes travel time.

Location - Slough (service area up to 30 minutes travel time).
Industry - Boilers, air source heat pumps (ASHP), ground source heat pumps (GSHP), renewables, domestic heating, FGAS, electrics, gas boilers, oil burners.
Benefits - £45k - £50k, flexible overtime if desired, 42 hours a week (door to door), no weekend rota, no call out (all scheduled/planned), new van and tools.
Candidate - Experienced domestic heating engineer with hands-on experience servicing, fault finding and fixing on ASHPs and/or boilers, ideally with knowledge of heating and plumbing systems incorporating air source heat pumps. Plumbing and electrical training would be a benefit. Industry recognised FGAS training with a qualification will be provided.
This is a brand-new Heating Service Engineer position, working directly for one of the largest leading Heating Manufacturers in the UK, created due to growth. As the Heating Service Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining boilers and an increasing number of air source heat pumps on residential housing projects, including new build housing developments through housebuilders and social housing schemes, new build or retrofit, through local authorities and housing associations.
Due to the nature of the role you must have extensive experience in plumbing and heating, either installation or service, of domestic or commercial unvented hot water systems incorporating boilers AND/OR heat pumps – ASHPs or GSHPs or other renewables such as solar PV, heat recovery, and underfloor heating. Recognised industry training and further qualifications such as City & Guilds plumbing and heating, BPEC, unvented hot water systems, F-gas, boiler training, heat pumps and electrical training are an advantage.
