About the Role:

We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our site delivery team on a major earthmoving contract. This role is essential for ensuring a safe working environment and promoting a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HSE support and guidance to the site team.
  • Conduct regular site tours and inspections.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings.
  • Build positive relationships with the workforce.
  • Collaborate with the client's SHE team.
  • Conduct HSE training and site inductions.
  • Maintain HSE documentation and plans.
  • Produce monthly HSE reports.
  • Stay updated with relevant legislation.

Key Competencies:

Essential:

  • Experience in Health & Safety within the construction industry.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or higher.
  • Understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Site-based experience in construction and civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ISO standards.
  • Auditing and inspection skills.
  • Incident investigation experience.
