Job summary

A healthcare provider in Huddersfield is seeking individuals for a part-time Portering role in the Facilities team. This permanent position offers a 30-hour/week schedule with early, late, and night shifts as part of a 7-day rota, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Physically fit with ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Experience or willingness to learn all aspects of portering.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Transfer patients to wards and departments.
• Collect and transport deceased to the mortuary.
• Deliver case notes and clinical equipment to wards.
• Collect and remove domestic and clinical waste.
