Overview

Healthcare Assistant - Mary Moore Ward. Band 3 - (subject to presentation of full care certificate). Full-time 37.5 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and caring Healthcare Assistant, with a passion for working on a surgical ward, to join our supportive and friendly team.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direct supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, Ward Manager who delegates tasks to the post holder, delivering high quality nursing care to patients as part of a team.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Previous experience in this role is preferred but you will be provided with clinical training to learn the role and will have daily supervision by trained staff to perform safely, confidently and competently the clinical skills required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Genuine desire to become a part of our team and provide outstanding care for our patients
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
  • Be hardworking, compassionate and have a passion to care for this client group
