A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a full-time Healthcare Assistant at HMP Garth in Leyland. The role involves delivering care in a challenging environment, supporting primary care clinics and working alongside a dedicated team. Salary ranges from £25,557 to £29,723 per annum, with substantial benefits including 25 days leave plus public holidays and a pension scheme.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team at HMP Garth, a high security Category B male prison located in Leyland. HMP Garth has a capacity of around 850 and houses men serving long‑term and indeterminate sentences. This role sits within our Primary Care team, where you will support clinics, work with pharmacy and respond to emergency situations – no two days are ever the same! As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary.
