Job summary

A well-established manufacturing and logistics company in Royston is seeking a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator. You will support the development of HSQE practices and achieve ISO 45001 certification while maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001. The ideal candidate will have experience in relevant roles and a NEBOSH Certificate. This position also involves monitoring compliance and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Some experience in health, safety, quality or environmental roles, ideally in manufacturing, logistics or industrial sectors.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.

Overview

Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator – Royston | £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits

We\'re delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing and logistics company to recruit a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator. This newly created role will support the development of HSQE practices across the business and play a key part in achieving ISO 45001 certification, while maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001.

The position reports to the Operations Director and is based in Royston, with some travel to other local company sites.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and improving HSQE systems aligned with ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001.
• Monitoring records such as incident logs, training registers and audit reports.
• Assisting with audits, site inspections and compliance checks.
• Acting as secretary for the HSQE Steering Committee and tracking actions.
• Supporting investigations into incidents and championing continual improvement.
• Helping prepare for ISO audits and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Some experience in health, safety, quality or environmental roles, ideally in manufacturing, logistics or industrial sectors.
• A health and safety qualification (eg. NEBOSH Certificate)
• Effective communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels.
• Familiarity with ISO standards would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
