Our client is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join their team in London. This role offers a competitive salary range of £40,000-£55,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward a health and safety culture across the operation. What you'll do:

• Promote health and safety awareness across the site
• Coordinate and monitor safety related processes including risk assessment, training, accident investigation, workplace safety audits
• Complete audits and share best practice regarding all health and safety matters
• Work closely with facilities to ensure contractors work safely on site
• Advise management on health & safety legislation, safe methods of working, prevention of hazards to health and the suitability of plant, protective equipment and control measures
• Maintain the Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) plan and support delivery of all associated actions

What you bring:

• Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within a logistics environment / FMCG / Chilled or perishable goods
• Experienced in assisting with an effective implementation of a H&S management system
• Effective interpersonal, management and communication skills
• Organised and detail oriented
• Good IT and data analysis skills
