Health, Safety and Compliance Advisor Celtic Manor Resort•Newport, GB

Are you passionate about creating safe, compliant, and high-quality environments? Do you thrive in dynamic settings and enjoy driving continuous improvement? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join The Celtic Collection as a Health, Safety and Compliance Advisor.

As a key member of our Health, Safety and Compliance team, you’ll support the Head of Department in ensuring our properties meet all legislative obligations while promoting a proactive safety culture. You’ll lead audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives across our diverse hospitality and event spaces, including ICC Wales.

OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE

Essential:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in Health & Safety.
  • Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, food safety, and fire safety.
  • At least 1 year of recent and relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Membership of a recognised professional body.
  • Experience in hospitality or multi-site environments.
  • Proven ability to coach and influence at all levels.
  • Track record of implementing policies and driving positive change.

  • Deliver basic training and support scenario-based drills.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with facilities and maintenance teams to ensure building compliance.
  • Analyse data and produce actionable reports and insights.
