Company & Project: We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading social housing contractor, who are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated H&S professional to play a key role in ensuring compliance and driving a strong safety culture across a busy portfolio of housing refurbishment and maintenance projects.

  • Provide professional health & safety advice and support to operational teams across social housing projects.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with legislation and company standards.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of health & safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote a proactive safety-first culture.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, providing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support the continuous improvement of health & safety systems and training.
Desirable Experience & Skills
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (minimum).
  • Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within construction or social housing.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations, risk assessments, and auditing processes.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
