Job description
Overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to take on the role of Health Corporate Record Services Site Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee their local day to day service planning and workload, co-ordinate service cover, monitor progress and proactively solve non routine problems with a particular focus on supporting the Management Team thus contributing to the provision of an efficient health record service. The post holder may also have responsibility for service coordination on other sites and will cover for Health Records Management Team as required.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is enthusiastic and highly motivated. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an ongoing willingness to develop their own skills to ensure that organisational values are met.

Qualifications
  • Ideally the successful candidate should hold the Institute of Health Records and Information Management (IHRIM) Certificate or Diploma or be prepared to achieve this and have a demonstrable knowledge of Health Record Services in practice with extensive previous experience, as well in-depth knowledge and experience of managing waiting times and data quality.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
  • The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
