Qualifications

  • Recognised full teaching qualification must be held.

  • Prepare delivery plans and learning materials.
  • Mark students’ work and carry out internal quality assurance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development.

Lecturer – Health FXT

We are looking for a Lecturer in Health, with a specialism in delivering T Level or Level 3 qualifications, to join our Health Care and Early Years team. This role is 21 hours per week, fixed term until July 2026, offering a salary of £18,121 to £25,061 per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out formal scheduled teaching
  • Undertake a personal tutor and/or course leader role for groups of students to maintain high achievement rates
  • Prepare delivery plans, sequenced learning plans and learning materials
  • Mark students’ work and/or examinations and carry out internal quality assurance
  • Work as part of the team in monitoring, reviewing and evaluating all aspects of the programmes, including work placements
  • Maintain appropriate College and university records and follow the College Quality processes
  • Participate in the self‑assessment procedure to monitor and evaluate performance
  • Carry out student reviews and tutorials
  • Contribute to curriculum development
  • Participate in student recruitment to include marketing activities and interviews
Skills and Qualifications
  • Level 2 or above English/literacy and maths/numeracy
