CTM UHB are looking to recruit an enthusiastic motivated Healthcare Support Worker with a commitment to delivering high quality patient care. Care of the elderly/Frailty nursing hugely rewarding and we are looking for kind, caring and empathetic individual to join our busy nursing team. The ward includes elderly frail patients some living with dementia You will need a passion for caring for people and to want to understand their care needs.
Cwm Taf UHB will provide: A supernumerary period to support you in your new role/full training on‑going learning and development opportunities and an individual personal development plan to guide your development within your new role.
The successful post holder will be given opportunity to develop their skills experience within CTM UHB. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, compassionate and can adapt quickly to change. You must possess good communication.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. The Health Board currently operate a number of different shift systems. The most common are a 12.5 hour shift, inclusive of either one 30 minute or two 30‑minute unpaid breaks. These shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements.
