Job Summary

We have vacancies for an enthusiastic Band 2 HCA to join our team on AMU 2. This is a great opportunity to work with a well‑experienced team on this busy unit. The role requires a passionate, team‑player who excels in communication and organisational skills.

Main Duties
  • Assist patients in meeting hygiene needs and carry out all aspects of personal care and grooming (including emptying catheter bags).
  • Support the prevention of pressure sore development under the instruction of the Registered Nurse and the patient’s plan of care.
  • Enable patients to maintain or improve mobility through exercise and the use of mobility appliances as directed in individual care plans.
  • Undertake clerical duties in the absence of or to support the Ward Clerk, ensuring smooth operation of the ward.
