Job description
  • To support and assist the wardteam members in the provision of a high standard of patient care, including thepromotion of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to the patient.
  • To be an effective member ofthe ward Multi Disciplinary Team (MDT) carrying out assigned tasks involvingdirect and indirect care provision to patients under the supervision andguidance of senior staff members.
  • The HCA role will work across atwenty four hour/seven day week period within the ward setting to deliverdirect personal/nursing care to patients.


Main duties of the job

  • To support and assistthe ward team members in the provision of a high standard of patient care overa 24 hour period.
  • To be an effectivemember of the Multi Disciplinary team working in close liaison with that teamto promote the rehabilitation ethos of the ward
  • To undertake tasks onthe ward of a non clinical nature which contribute to the smooth running and generalmanagement of the ward

What you'll need:


A minimum of 6 months experience in a community environment within the last 2 years , depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills. Please note the experience will need to be within the UK private hospital or NHS trust.

Qualifications

  • Care certificate or Vocational level 2
  • Have at least 2 years experience as a Care support worker , working in Hospital or any NHS trust UK.
