An NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Health Care Assistant to work alongside a diverse team providing nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence. This position offers opportunities for training and development, supporting staff in their growth towards advanced nursing roles.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work alongside our diverse team comprising nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and technical instructors. We provide evidence-based nursing care to patients in their own homes. Our service operates 8am – 10pm, 365 days a year. We offer flexible working patterns and are happy to consider full or part-time applicants. We support staff through training and development, including time for training, university attendance and placements. Based in Welwyn and Hatfield Integrated Community Team, this role offers opportunities to progress, for example toward Nursing Associate training and Registered Nurse top-up with the support of Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust. A full valid driving licence and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
