Job summary

A public healthcare service in Scotland is seeking a HealthCare Assistant for 15 hours per week at Uist & Barra Hospital. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with opportunities to work in A&E and outpatients with training. Responsibilities

Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of care and interacting well within a multi‑disciplinary team. They will be based predominantly on the ward but may be asked to work in A&E, outpatients and Local scopes following appropriate training.

Requirements

Successful candidates must achieve Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full‑time employment (up to six months for part‑time workers). They must also register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme. This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
