Overview

We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Health and Safety Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Managing a regular audit and reporting program
  • Act as a key Health & Safety point of contact
  • Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure employees are competent regarding their HSE duties, including toolbox talks.
  • Developing appropriate arrangements to ensure that risks from contractors are managed
  • Undertaking investigations of site incidents and accidents that addresses circumstances, cause and consider improvements that could be made
  • Manage and maintain the COSHH register
  • Ensure all relevant site files are in place and up to date
  • Manage and maintain the Noise and Vibration registers for all equipment
  • Performance audits on permits
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH Certificate essential or equivalent level 3 qualification.
  • Strong technical understanding in a manufacturing / construction environment
  • Experience in delivery of QHSE
  • Broad experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
