A leading safety management firm is seeking a Health and Safety Manager in Skelmersdale to enforce policies, enhance safety practices, and lead the site towards ISO45001 certification. The ideal candidate should have a NEBOSH certificate, strong legislation knowledge, and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. With responsibilities including risk management, incident investigation, and training facilitation, the role offers the opportunity to promote a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices.
This role is part of a wider, senior management team reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
While there will be an initial requirement for you to work alongside our part-time Health and Safety Manager, you will be expected to take the lead role for all Health and Safety at the site.
You will be required to continually drive and improve health and safety practices across the entire site towards achieving a safe, healthy and productive workplace for all.
The company has a future desire to work towards attaining ISO45001 certification to align with the ISO14001 and ISO9001 certifications already achieved.
