The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and contractors to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and promote wellbeing throughout the project stages. Required qualifications include a Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety and a valid CSCS Card. Health and Safety Advisor – Construction

Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk (5 days a week onsite). Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time.

Up to 5% bonus, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension (up to 7.5% employee / 15% employer) and ongoing professional development.

• Provide expert H&S advice across a wide range of site operations, including infrastructure, facilities management, logistics, waste, fuel, accommodation, catering, health and security.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Leads and Tier 1 Contractors to ensure compliance with all H&S requirements, particularly under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM).
• Collaborate with construction leaders to embed safety into every phase of the project.
• Provide expert guidance on legislative and site-specific safety standards.
• Drive a proactive approach to risk mitigation in high‑pressure environments.
• Ensure compliance with CDM and all other relevant H&S regulations across all contractors.
• Promote health, safety, and wellbeing throughout all project stages.

• Broad experience in H&S standards within construction (including CDM Regulation experience).
• Recognised H&S qualification – Level 6 Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Proven track record in leading investigations and delivering safety improvements.
• Passion for continuous improvement in health, safety and wellbeing.
• Degree in Construction, NEBOSH Diploma, H&S NVQ/Diploma or Certificate in Environmental Studies, or a related field.
