We are seeking a Head Office Accountant (Maternity Cover) to join our team. In this role, you will oversee financial accounting activities at our head office, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and providing essential support for business decision-making.

Please note, this maternity cover position will ideally commence no later than the beginning of November.

What you'll be doing

As Head Office Accountant, you will manage the financial accounting activities at the head office, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and support for business decision-making.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions
  • Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain data integrity
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Collaborate and support internal teams, Senior Heads of Departments and external auditors during audits and reviews
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business performance
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes

Working pattern: Monday - Friday
