A leading global bank in London is seeking a Head of Valuation, Reporting and Analytics for Europe and Americas. The role is crucial for shaping and executing the control environment and ensuring the accuracy of HSBC's financial statements, particularly concerning the fair valuation of products across the Group. You will be responsible for leading the team developing methodologies feeding regulatory and financial reporting, managing controls around valuation models and processes, and ensuring high-standard governance and documentation. You will navigate interactions with regulators and auditors regarding valuation processes. The role involves independent price verification, financial analysis, reporting, and providing product expertise for traded products. It also includes driving conversations with stakeholders across the HSBC businesses, the CFOs and Controllership teams, making it a significant and rewarding position with opportunities to engage in new client and regulatory initiatives.
The base location for this role will be London and with a hybrid working pattern.
