Overview

TMM are working exclusively with a high growth energy business seeking an exceptional Head of Tax to lead and oversee all aspects of tax across their global business. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for setting and executing their tax strategy, ensuring compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to the business at both strategic and operational levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning and leading the organisation’s tax strategy, advisory and compliance agenda across all jurisdictions.
• Developing and maintaining a robust tax control framework, ensuring effective governance and risk management.
• Providing expert advice on UK and international taxation, including cross-border structuring and transfer pricing.
• Acting as the company’s trusted tax advisor, working closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing tax team.
• Partnering with business leaders to support strategic transactions and drive long-term value creation.

About You

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
• Proven track record in UK and international tax within a complex multinational environment.
• Strong expertise in tax strategy, advisory and compliance.
• Demonstrated experience operating at senior leadership level with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex issues while remaining hands-on when needed.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs.
