Overview

Morson Talent is excited to be partnering with a growing business based in Leeds to find a Head of Talent Acquisition & Vetting. This is a permanent opportunity, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general support, mentorship, and direction to the recruitment department
  • Ensure compliance is maintained throughout all hiring processes, partnering with Management throughout the organisation to achieve this
  • Contribute to and lead on recruitment projects, as well as ensure a viable and sustainable long-term strategy is in place for current and future hiring needs
  • Monitor the recruitment team to ensure continuous improvement and maintain achieving targets, providing feedback to senior leadership
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and devise an effective recruitment strategy
  • Oversee and support in end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Maintain consistent awareness and knowledge of UK employment laws relevant to hiring
  • Liaise with external partners and stakeholders of the organisation, as required
  • Monitor time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and compliance metrics.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience is administered throughout the team in each hiring process
Personal Specification
  • Experience working in a similar role in a high volume environment
  • Strong understanding of vetting regulations and processes, recruitment best practice, and a thorough knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Experience leading a team
  • Able to strategise long-term recruitment plans
  • Strong leadership style with acumen when making decisions and providing guidance
