Overview
Morson Talent is excited to be partnering with a growing business based in Leeds to find a Head of Talent Acquisition & Vetting. This is a permanent opportunity, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide general support, mentorship, and direction to the recruitment department
- Ensure compliance is maintained throughout all hiring processes, partnering with Management throughout the organisation to achieve this
- Contribute to and lead on recruitment projects, as well as ensure a viable and sustainable long-term strategy is in place for current and future hiring needs
- Monitor the recruitment team to ensure continuous improvement and maintain achieving targets, providing feedback to senior leadership
- Partner with senior leadership to understand business needs and devise an effective recruitment strategy
- Oversee and support in end-to-end recruitment processes
- Maintain consistent awareness and knowledge of UK employment laws relevant to hiring
- Liaise with external partners and stakeholders of the organisation, as required
- Monitor time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and compliance metrics.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience is administered throughout the team in each hiring process
Personal Specification
- Experience working in a similar role in a high volume environment
- Strong understanding of vetting regulations and processes, recruitment best practice, and a thorough knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes
- Experience leading a team
- Able to strategise long-term recruitment plans
- Strong leadership style with acumen when making decisions and providing guidance
