The purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and execution of JD Sport’s YouTube and social channels. The goal is to make these channels the go-to destination for youths in the sports lifestyle sector.
You will define and execute the strategy across JD sports channels, combining a data-oriented approach with a creative mindset to optimize all organic, paid, and community content.
Working closely with Heads of Fascia, social media, and the YouTube team, you will focus on driving growth of our social media and YouTube community, increasing affinity, engagement, share of voice, and positive sentiment to deepen brand love, drive awareness, site traffic, and sales to meet KPIs.
Expert knowledge in community management, organic growth, content creation, and paid social platforms is essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing business and market conditions.
You will be the main contact for all social media and YouTube initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders to create high-quality multi-platform campaigns. Maintaining strong relationships with social media platforms and Google is crucial for continual innovation.
