This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected international events business, known for delivering high-impact, senior-level conferences and awards. Their events bring together key decision-makers from across sectors to foster meaningful partnerships, drive strategic conversations, and support business development on a global scale.

As Head of Sales, you will take full ownership of the sales strategy and revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of business events across EMEA. You’ll be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s commercial footprint across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a high-performing sales and growth strategy across the EMEA region.
  • Drive sponsorship, delegate, and partnership sales across a broad portfolio of conferences
  • Identify and capitalise on new revenue streams, market opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a sales team to meet and exceed targets through clear performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, content, operations) to ensure commercial goals align with event delivery and brand positioning.
  • Represent the business at industry events, maintaining a strong external profile and network.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B event sales or a similar commercial environment, ideally within the professional services, banking, legal or corporate sectors.
  • A track record of securing high-value sponsorships and developing new business opportunities across diverse markets.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to motivate and manage sales teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A strategic and commercially minded approach, with the ability to drive consistent revenue growth and innovation.
  • The flexibility to travel internationally when required.
