A leading defense contractor is seeking a Head of Quality in Sheffield to manage quality assurance processes. You will lead a team of professionals, ensure compliance with internal standards, and develop quality objectives. Ideal candidates will have significant quality management experience and knowledge of ISO accreditation. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.

The Quality team:
As Head of Quality, you’ll join Weapon Systems UK which designs, builds, and supports artillery systems and naval guns used across the world. Due to recent geopolitical events, the need for artillery capability has come under increasing spotlight, and BAE Systems is restarting production of products including major structures for the M777 Howitzer to help meet this demand. To do this, we have opened a brand-new manufacturing facility in Sheffield, and you will be the delegated quality authority, covering this facility and our Barrow site.
This is an exciting opportunity to join as we scale our production capability. You’ll help build and mobilise quality processes, systems, integrate the quality function across 2 sites and the role is likely to grow as our manufacturing capability and demand increases.
