A leading healthcare institution in the UK is seeking a Head of Procurement to manage procurement for estates, facilities management, and construction. The role involves developing strategies, executing sourcing activities, and fostering a diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven experience in procurement and a commitment to inclusivity. This position emphasizes collaborative work and strategic influence, ensuring value and efficiency in procurement operations.
The Head of Procurement for Estates, Facilities Management and Construction will act as the main point of contact for procurement in Space and Place, the directorate in the Trust, responsible for delivering all estates, construction and FM activities. They will be responsible for delivering an excellent procurement service, working collaboratively with colleagues and acting as senior adviser to the leadership team gaining their trust. The job holder will be directly responsible for managing the portfolio of contracts, maintaining the procurement pipeline and developing a category strategy for estates and facilities management. Delivery of savings will be a key responsibility.
