Head of Operations

Hours: Full Time. Working hours outside of term-time: flexible to be agreed.

Holiday: 28 days, to be taken in the School holidays.

The River School and Brook Nursery provide high quality Christian education to children aged 2 to 16.

Job Summary

The Head of Operations is a new role in the school and will be a key member of the school’s leadership team. They will be responsible for ensuring that the non-teaching functions of the school run efficiently, effectively, and in a way that supports the Christian vision and educational mission of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher, the Head of Operations will oversee administration, estates, HR, compliance, communications, finance and events, enabling the teaching staff to focus on delivering excellent education within a Jesus-shaped environment.

The position will commence immediately, as soon as all relevant checks have been made. The River School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. The school will follow its Safer Recruitment Policy and take up all references.
