A broadband provider in the UK is seeking a Head of Health and Safety to promote a proactive safety culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in health and safety, preferably in high-risk industries, and will lead compliance with relevant legislation and safety frameworks. – Lead on the integration of health and safety into business planning, project management, and operations
– Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, developing and maintaining frameworks, policies and procedures
– Oversee audits, inspections and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
– Champion a strong health and safety culture throughout the organisation
– Develop and deliver communication and training strategies to embed best practices
Here s why you ll be great in this role
– Extensive experience in health and safety, including in a senior leadership role
– NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
– Membership of IOSH or equivalent
– Experience in high risk industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, energy, transport) is preferred
– Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
