Job summary

A globally recognised consumer brand is seeking a Head of Group Reporting on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this high-impact role, you will oversee Group consolidation and external financial reporting while leading a dedicated team. Ideal candidates will be qualified accountants with significant experience preparing Group accounts in publicly listed environments. Qualifications

  • Strong track record of preparing Group accounts and IFRS financial statements.

Head of Group Reporting (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We're supporting a globally recognised, listed consumer brand with the appointment of a Head of Group Reporting on a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting early 2026. This is a high-impact senior finance role, reporting into the Director of Financial Control & Reporting, with ownership of Group reporting across a complex, international footprint.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of Group consolidation, statutory accounts, and external financial reporting.
  • Leading the Group Reporting team responsible for monthly consolidated management information and board reporting.
  • Partnering closely with commercial finance, FP&A, and Investor Relations.
  • Providing technical and commercial accounting guidance, including preparation of board-level papers.
  • Driving continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls, and efficiencies.
  • Managing external audit relationships and ensuring smooth audit delivery.
  • Collaborating with transactional finance and global accounting teams.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / equivalent).
  • Senior external reporting experience within a publicly listed environment.
  • Strong track record of preparing Group accounts and IFRS financial statements for external publication.
  • Up-to-date technical accounting knowledge with a robust controls mindset.
  • Commercially astute, pragmatic, and solutions-focused.
  • Proven people leader with experience building and developing teams.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable presenting at senior leadership and Board level.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight reporting deadlines.
  • Experience with OneStream and/or D365 beneficial, but not essential.
