  • Degree in nursing

  • evidence of ongoing development related to subject
  • teaching / assessment qualification
Knowledge
Essential criteria
  • understanding of gynaecological cancers
  • knowledge of lynch syndrome
Desirable criteria
  • knowledge of genetics in oncology
Technical Skills and competences

  • Ability to deliver high quality assessments, telephone triage, safety net advice and symptom management

Experience
Essential criteria
  • Significant post registration experience in cancer care, gynaecology or related acute speciality
  • Experience providing complex patient support, information and holistic assessment.
  • Experience with the delivery of SACT treatments, and their related management of side effects

  • Previous experience working as a CNS
  • Experience in hereditary cancer syndromes or genetic counselling pathways
  • Experience of managing case loads
