Job summary

A luxury hotel in London is seeking a Groups and Event Executive to actively sell event spaces and coordinate exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of event planning experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for customer service. Proficiency in Opera and a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management are preferred.

Qualifications

Overview

As a Groups and Event Executive, you will be an essential part of the success of Bulgari Hotel London by actively selling our event spaces and food and beverage outlets to new and existing clients. Your primary focus will be to actively convert new revenue by identifying all sales opportunities and effectively converting them into bookings. You will also be responsible for coordinating, liaising with customers, and organizing the delivery of outstanding event experiences, utilizing all the services and spaces our hotel has to offer.

Responsibilities
  • Additionally, you will handle meetings, events, and group requests for private event rooms, coordinate with customers and relevant departments to deliver exceptional event experiences, and actively promote and upsell hotel products and facilities.
  • Other responsibilities include issuing Banquet Event Orders, ensuring accurate input into Opera, and assisting with sales activities and day-to-day office operations.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in event planning and sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office; positive attitude and passion for providing outstanding customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Knowledge of the 5-star hotel market in London and experience in the luxury industry; excellent command of the English language.
