Alzheimer's Society seeks a Group Support Volunteer to assist individuals affected by dementia in social settings. The role involves facilitating activities, ensuring refreshments are provided, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. About The Role

As a Group Support Volunteer, you will support and encourage individuals affected by dementia to participate in activities and socialise with others. You will welcome attendees, help them feel comfortable, offer refreshments, and assist with setting up and tidying after sessions.
There are two groups available:
Your involvement will help ensure that people affected by dementia can meet others, access support and information, and enjoy meaningful activities.
