Overview

Group Office Administrator - Preston - Maternity Cover - Part time (11/12 months)

Department: Administration
Salary: £19,696 (FTE £32,800 per annum)
Reports to: Group HR Director
Location: Preston (PR2)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 1:30pm (22.5 hours per week) – negotiable for the right candidate
Note: Once a month, you may be required to stay slightly later for Board meetings; this time will be given back.

Axon Moore is looking for a highly organised and proactive Group Office Administrator to support the Group CEO, HR Director, and senior leadership team. This role is varied, coordinating board meetings, handling key administrative duties, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business functions.

Responsibilities
  • Executive Support – Coordinate and prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations for Board and AGM meetings.
  • Travel & Scheduling – Manage travel arrangements for the Group CEO and senior managers; oversee diary priorities when required.
  • Board Administration – Produce and distribute Board packs, collate AGM documentation, and provide general administrative support.
  • Financial & Compliance – Manage CEO credit card statements and process customer Key Holder Agreements, ensuring accurate logging and approvals.
  • Project Support – Provide administration support to the Group HR Director and Group QHSE Manager on specific initiatives.
  • Office Management – Oversee stationery supplies, liaise with external service providers, and assist with ad-hoc cover and training when required.
  • Health & Safety – Actively promote a safe working environment, report hazards, and follow company safety procedures.
