Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a large, multi-site organisation to recruit a talented Group FP&A and Reporting Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant to join an established finance function and play a key role in group reporting, financial modelling, and supporting strategic decision‑making.

Our client is based in a well‑connected part of central London, and the role offers hybrid working.

The Role
  • Support the consolidation and reporting of monthly group results, ensuring accuracy, preparing adjustment journals, and delivering clear variance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting cycle, consolidating submissions, reviewing assumptions, and ensuring timelines, instructions, and outputs are delivered efficiently.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual and half‑year reporting, including financial statements, working papers, audit support, and schedules for senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in projects and process improvements, including enhancements to reporting, systems, and finance processes.
To be considered for this Group FP&A and Reporting Accountant position, you will have/be:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting skills with experience in group consolidation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence building/working with financial models.
  • Experience gained within a group or multi‑site organisation.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
