Driving Licence Required

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operatives to cover sites throughout the Rochdale Borough. The contract will run through to the end of October but maybe extended / lead to permanent work for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for maintaining communal green spaces and duties will include:

• Grass cutting
• Weeding
• Pruning and cutting shrubs and trees
• Using hand held machinery
• General tidying and maintenance

Qualifications

• Knowledge and skills required: General awareness of Health and Safety and an ability to work in line with risk assessments
• Able to work with minimum supervision and use your own initiative
• Ability to undertake a wide variety of work including heavy lifting
• Excellent customer service skills put the customer first
• You must hold a full driving licence
