Job summary

A leading technical consultancy is seeking a Graduate Water Engineer in Belfast. You will undertake engineering design, assist with project delivery, and ensure compliance with regulations. A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant subject is required, along with desirable skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and excellent communication. This role starts in September 2026, with an application closing date of October 31, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Undertake engineering design (to EuroCode/BS)
• Provide technical assistance to the Water Engineering Team
• Assist in the delivery of projects on time and to budget
• Work under the supervision of the Project Engineer(s)
• Assist in design reviews and verification checks
• Undertake site visits and surveys
• Ensure compliance with all legislation and regulations
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders

Role Title

Your Role

• Undertake engineering design (to EuroCode/BS)
• Provide technical assistance to the members of the Water Engineering Team
• Assistin the delivery of projects on time and to budget
• Workunder the supervision of the Project Engineer(s) and the Design teamleader
• Assistin design reviews and verification checks
• Undertake site visits and surveys
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, regulations and site procedures orinstructions
• Liaisewith clients, architects, contractors, statutory bodies and stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum 2:1 degree qualified in a relevant subject

Desirable skills

• MS Office/ MS Teams skills
• Previous industry work experience
• Experience in the use of AutoCad / REVIT
• Experience in the use of engineering design software
• Commitment to achieving professional qualifications in engineering/chartered status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated
