Qualifications

• Around one year of experience in a transport planning role or relevant strong graduate knowledge.
• Interest in sustainable transport, healthy streets, placemaking, transport policy, and development planning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and technical notes.
• Prepare Travel Plans and Travel Packs.
• Analyse traffic, census and public transport data.
• Support swept path analysis and AutoCAD-based design work.
• Liaise with internal teams, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Attend meetings, workshops and design reviews.
• Contribute to evidence-based, sustainable transport solutions.

Skills

Understanding of the UK planning system

Confidence using Microsoft Office

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Team-oriented approach
