The role involves supporting teachers and assisting pupils, including those with special educational needs, in various year groups. Flexible part-time and full-time positions are available. We are looking for graduates who have a passion for education and working with children to join Smart Teachers working as a Teaching Assistant with our partner primary schools across East London.
Training for working as a Teaching Assistant will be provided by us. We do not use umbrella companies, we use PAYE.
As a graduate teaching assistant, you will be working in mainstream primary schools within East London supporting pupils in all year groups across Early Years, KS1 and KS2.
We have both full time roles working in one school Monday-Friday, and part time supply roles. Part time supply roles involve working in different schools in different year groups throughout the week on the days you are available for work. You let us know your availability, and if there is work available on those days we offer this to you.
All schools are mainstream Primary Schools across East London.
Schools expect supply staff to be punctual, organised, passionate about working with children and be able to work collaboratively.
