Graduate Software Developer – VN5332
Location: Spennymoor, DL16 6FS | Contract: Permanent | Hours: 37.50 per week | Working days & times: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (Hybrid working)
This is an opportunity to become a Graduate Software Developer within a national education company, providing effective software solutions for internal and external customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in software development, working on real-world projects that make a difference. You’ll be supported by experienced developers and technical leads, gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies including C#, React & SQL Server, agile methodologies, and best practices in software engineering.
Responsibilities
- Use the latest development tools to solve problems and create solutions that fit the needs of internal and external customers
- Work within an agile team to develop software that is of an exceptional standard
- Ensure an exceptional level of customer care is always delivered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Conduct role in line with company values and expected behaviours

Essential Criteria

- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
