Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day site management, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Support setting out, surveying, and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials on site.
  • Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance.
  • Assist with environmental management and sustainability targets.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to solve technical challenges.
  • Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder communication.

Graduate (Site Engineer) – The Role

We’re a ground-breaking collaboration between eight leading organisations – Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO – and we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme.We are looking for a Graduate Site Engineer to join the frontline of project delivery, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of civil, mechanical, or electrical works on water and wastewater sites. This is a hands-on, site-based role offering exposure to major infrastructure projects, cutting-edge technologies, and the chance to build a meaningful career in a future-proof industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day site management, ensuring safe and efficient operations
  • Support setting out, surveying, and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials on site
  • Monitor progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
  • Assist with environmental management and sustainability targets

Essential
  • A recent or upcoming graduate in Civil Engineering, a Mechanical-related discipline
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the East Anglian Region

Desirable
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
