Overview

Graduate Physics Teacher - Independent School

Location: Essex (easily accessible through the Elizabeth Line)

Start Date: January 2026

Contract: Fixed Term until September 2027 (with view to permanent)

Salary: Competitive, based on the school's generous independent pay scale

Role and Training

We are currently seeking a passionate and ambitious Physics graduate to join a high-performing independent school in Essex from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach Physics while training for a PGCE in a highly supportive environment.

The successful candidate will begin as an unqualified teacher for two terms, before undertaking a fully funded PGCE from September 2026.

The school offers a structured training programme with full mentoring and a reduced timetable, leading to QTS. The initial contract is for five terms, with the expectation of a permanent role from September 2027.
