Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our Severnside dairy site. The Site HR Manager will own the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee exit – in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the HR agenda for the site in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Build commitment for HR initiatives across the site.
  • Communicate people‑related initiatives and strategy to the workforce.
  • Drive compliance against key people KPIs (absence, turnover) and track progress.
  • Participate in the implementation of HR projects, procedures and guidelines aligned with organisational goals.
  • Deliver an engagement and wellbeing agenda and track progress against action plans.
  • Facilitate employee forums, focus groups and listening sessions.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence – ER, Recruitment and L&D teams.
  • Partner with the Reward team to design, implement and communicate incentive and recognition programmes.
  • Co‑coach management teams to improve performance development effectiveness.
  • Ensure the performance management process is in place and operating effectively.
  • Support talent identification, development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build leadership capability through coaching and skill development.
  • Manage recruitment in line with workforce plans and review headcount with Finance to control budgets.
Key Skills & Experience
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working within a business‑partner or matrix structure.
  • Proven track record leading HR project workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of HR legislation and ability to apply it appropriately.
