Walton Medical Centre are currently looking to recruit a GP Assistant to join their team. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 16+ hours per week, days to be discussed. We would expect some flexibility to help cover sickness and holiday when needed.
This is a post developed to deliver better outcomes for patients by supporting GPs within appointments and with necessary paperwork. You should also be able to deal with patient and hospital queries, and complete surgery specific duties such as referral sending using correct referral pathways, audit and coding. Walton Medical Practice is situated in the traditional seaside resort of Walton on the Naze, on the Essex Coast. They have a list size of just over 8300 patients.
The Colte Partnership is a GP super-partnership, formed in June 2017. It brought together 9 local GP surgeries across Colchester and Tendring, serving approx. 98,000 patients.
As well as general practice, we offer Extended Access appointments to enable all of our patients to access medical care at evening and weekends; we work collaboratively with external agencies to provide in home services and Social Prescribing; we are working to be at the forefront of clinical research; and have many more exciting ventures on the horizon.
