What you’ll be doing

General Summary / Objectives:

The Global Mobility Business & Systems Specialist assesses, designs, and implements technology solutions to support Hitachi’s Global Mobility capabilities, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring continuous service delivery.

They provide guidance on enterprise-wide solutions, monitor system performance, and ensure alignment with business strategies and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Consult with stakeholders to determine requirements and change impacts.
  2. Support design and development of mobility systems aligned with company goals.
  3. Specify inputs/outputs, develop technical diagrams, and ensure system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Oversee implementation, configuration, testing, and validation of systems.
  5. Manage requirements, project governance, and risks.
  6. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
  7. Work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver outcomes.
What you bring to the team

Motivated team player with relevant experience and skills, including:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in application support or business analysis in large/multinational companies.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, requirements gathering, testing, and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of global mobility processes, tax, and data privacy regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or 7 years HRIS experience; language skills in English, Japanese is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Workday, SAP, middleware, and Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands:

Standard office work involving long periods sitting and computer use.
