Role Overview:

A new opportunity has become available for a Market Risk Manager to join the EMEA Macro team in London. The role involves technical understanding of financial products, real-time market monitoring, and data analysis/modeling. It requires effective communication skills to report risk positions and influence stakeholders.

This position focuses on Fixed Income, supporting risk management for the Global Financing & Futures desk, and involves close interaction with trading desks and support groups such as Finance, Quants, and Technology.

• Collaborate with trading desks and support teams to enhance risk management capabilities
• Identify, manage, and communicate risk exposures
• Prepare risk reports for traders, senior management, and regulators

What we are looking for:

• Solid academic background, possibly including postgraduate qualifications
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of financial markets and Macroeconomics
• Understanding of derivatives and financial modeling
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Experience as a Risk Manager working with front-line teams is desirable
