Job summary

A major television broadcaster is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support the Health & Safety and Duty of Care team. Responsibilities include providing advice and training on safety matters, conducting inspections, and preparing reports. Candidates should have proven experience in Health & Safety or a relevant production role, along with a qualification from IOSH. This role requires flexibility, including national and international travel, with potential for weekend work depending on production schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Health & Safety or Production role.
• Experience within a Risk function is desirable.
• Understanding of duty of care and safeguarding principles.

Responsibilities

• Advise on health and safety matters independently.
• Assist with general welfare queries.
• Prepare reports for Health & Safety meetings.
• Conduct routine Health & Safety inspections.
• Collaborate to develop risk assessment documentation.

Proficient in IT

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in managing large volumes of data

Strong judgment

Education

Relevant qualification (EQF Level 3) from IOSH
