A global price-reporting agency in Greater London seeks a Global Head of Learning & Development to shape their L&D strategy and drive initiatives that transform employee growth. In this hands-on leadership role, you will focus on embedding learning platforms, developing a global careers program, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Strong experience in L&D leadership and stakeholder management is essential for success in this impactful position.
Fastmarkets is an industry-leading price-reporting agency (PRA) and information provider for global commodities, providing price data, news, analytics and events for the agriculture, forest products, metals and mining and new-generation energy markets.
Fastmarkets' data is critical for customers seeking to understand and predict dynamic, sometimes opaque markets, enabling trading and risk management. Fastmarkets is a global business with a history dating back to 1865 and is built on trust and deep market knowledge. It has more than 700 employees spread across global locations in the UK, US, China, India, Singapore, Brazil, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland and beyond.
As Global Head of Learning & Development, you’ll shape and deliver Fastmarkets’ worldwide L&D strategy to build a high-performance, future-ready workforce. This is a senior leadership role with real impact—driving initiatives that transform how our people learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll lead the design and execution of innovative programmes, from embedding our newly launched FM Academy (global learning platform) and introducing a new careers programme, to rolling out core and functional competencies and strengthening management and leadership development. Your mission: ensure every initiative aligns with business priorities, closes critical skills gaps, and delivers measurable results through data-driven insights. You’ll champion skills-based practices, optimise our learning portfolio for ROI, and harness technology and AI responsibly to create a culture of continuous learning across diverse, hybrid teams.
This is a hands‑on role where the successful candidate will own the learning strategy while also designing and delivering training themselves. We are seeking someone who enjoys being actively involved in delivery, not solely operating at a strategic level.
We recruit talented, dynamic people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united by a belief in our mission to provide the world’s leading and most trusted price reporting, events, and intelligence service for the markets we serve. We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating a fully inclusive workplace, where everyone feels able to participate and contribute meaningfully.
If you are open‑minded, curious, resilient, solutions‑oriented and committed to promoting equality, then read on.
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and has a passion to be part of a fast‑paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important, as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
If you're excited about the role but your experience, skills or qualifications don't perfectly align, we encourage you to apply anyway.
