Geography Teacher – Middlesbrough

Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Geography subject knowledge.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons.

• Provide effective classroom cover when required.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.

• Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment.

• Support students’ progress and curiosity about the world.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Geography (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).

• Confident teaching Geography across KS3–KS4.

• Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.

• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
